Grand Canyon and Four Corners

When we left Vegas, I was paying close attention to the weather. We were planning to head to Colorado Springs for a week before heading to our summer jobs in Yellowstone, but I was hoping to take a Northern route through Utah and see a couple of their National Parks, but a late winter storm made the area less appealing. We were also watching a huge wind storm that was forecast for the Vegas area and would probably chase us all the way to Colorado so we made tracks and didn't waste any time. I wanted to do something fun on the way and even though they were out of the way, we spent an afternoon at the Grand Canyon and, the next day a lunch stop at Four Corners (one of the places on my daughters wish list).
